My story
My experience as a creative told me how to work fast and deliver within project deadlines. I collaborated with different teams for established brands by following strict guidelines. Being fast-paced and quite stressful at times work environment, I've learned how to take criticism and work under pressure. Funny enough, that is when creatives are most productive.
In 2012, I came to London to study graphic and spatial design at UAL. The course was a mixture of visual communication for print and digital and spatial design. The university allowed me to develop and express my creative ideas by being part of a community of inspirational individuals.
Adding new tools to my skill set helps me express creative ideas and deliver successful projects. For me, improvement is a constant upward journey. We don't concentrate on the tool itself, but we need to be proficient in our craft and adapt to the ever-changing trends in design. I'm learning something new every day.
Through my experience on recent projects, I've discovered we always need to trust the UX process. We have to adapt our workflow accordingly to each project but building the knowledge to develop helpful digital solutions is paramount to our success. I quite enjoy getting to know people. By gaining insights into their needs and struggles, I can design a better user experience.
